Customer Reviews I purchased the Monster iCarPlay Cassette Adapter 800 for my iPhone 3g. It works great, although the cassette player will sometimes "reverse" direction. There is only a momentary interuption in the play. This may be more of an issue with the cassette deck (2003 Toyota 4 runner). As an added bonus, the adapter doubles as an adapter for my satellite receiver as well. Based on my experience, I could recommend this product.

Philips USA PH-62050 CD/MP3/MD-To-Cassette Adapter

This adapter works fine with my mp3 player, at top volume there's slight background noise that can be taken care of with noise reduction if your car stereo has it. Sound quality is excellent and very consistent. It's much better and less expensive than a radio transmitter. I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase.

I tried this one after returning the FM transmitter. The FM transmitter is too noisy to be tolerated. Then I found this cassetter converter, which is even cheaper, it works great on my car and there is no noise at all at low and medium volumn.
